Paintings by Visual Aid artist Georgianne Fastaia inspired by the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

The primary subject of her work is the existential condition. She uses abstracted forms--animals, figures, buildings and landscapes, to explore the movement between the bonds of kinship and our ultimate alone-ness.
