Behind the work of David Goldin.
The enlightening experience of David Goldin viewing his work by glimpsing into his past. He grew up as a first generation American to Russian immigrant parents at the height of the cold war. His childhood provided a very revealing look into two very contrasting yet similar cultures. In "Flirting with Reality", Goldin is in constant search for the definition of reality. In the end, Goldin realizes that reality is what we make of it, inside us all are worlds to be discovered. "My art is simply a means of entrance into my world, a place perhaps that might not seem so unfamiliar."
