217 E. Houston St. (corner Ave A & Houston)
New York City, New York 10002

For one night only, the company of Sweeney Todd -- one of the more remarkable performing ensembles in town -- are forsaking the rarefied environs of Broadway and reconnecting with their downtown roots for an evening of new and unexpected non-musical theater musical stylings. Michael Cerveris and his band perform songs from his first album, Dog Eared as well as debuting songs from his forthcoming release The Hinterlands EPs (both available on Low Heat Records) due out in early autumn.

Joined by Nellie McKay (Three Penny Opera) and Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening).

The evening is being organized by Cerveris as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
