Flat Cats Swing Dance December 29, 2007

The Flat Cats will perform at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Willowbrook Ballroom, 8900 S. Archer Ave, Willow Springs. A complimentary swing dance lesson will be given from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m., and open dance follows.

The Flat Cats blend vintage and modern music including the hottest swinging jazz, jump blues, steamy standards, modern classics, ballads, and toe-tapping western swing.

General admission is $12 or $10 with a student ID. Participants are encouraged to attend in vintage attire, no jeans or gym shoes please. Singles and couples of all ages are invited.

Founded in 1921, the Willowbrook Ballroom proudly bears the distinction of being one of only five ballrooms of its magnitude remaining in the United States that is committed to dancing. The Willowbrook Ballroom offers a 6,000 square-foot maple-sprung dance floor. Singles and couples of all ages are invited to dances and classes. Dance lessons are complimentary with price of admission.
