Billed as "The Greatest Break-Up Story Ever Told", next Tuesday we're showing the feature-length animated Flash movie "Sita Sings the Blues". Based upon the characters of Lord Rama and his devoted wife Sita from the Hindu epic Ramayana, the film is a modern interpretation of the myth. The following synopsis is taken from the film's official website:

Sita is a goddess separated from her beloved Lord and husband Rama. Nina is an animator whose husband moves to India, then dumps her by email. Three hilarious shadow puppets narrate both ancient tragedy and modern comedy in this beautifully animated interpretation of the Indian epic Ramayana, set to the 1920's jazz vocals of Annette Hanshaw.

So shut down your applications, grab some popcorn, and come let the projectionist take charge for a change. Sign up here* and we'll see you on Tuesday!
