Processing is a simple, open-source, cross-platform programming environment to create images, animation, and interactions. Its aimed at anyone who thought coding should be less about servers, databases & frowning and more about fun, expressiveness & joyous gay abandon: artists, designers, scientists, musicians, organ grinders, nouveaux proles, jabberwockies, Cheshire cats, Romany gypsies and you, to name but a happy few.
Processing practitioner - nay maestro, nay Masters student of evolutionary systems - Jamie Matthews will be in situ next Tuesday with a Processing masterclass for your delectation. He'll introduce you to the philosophy behind Processing, show some cool little code examples and give you a chance to have a good old mess around to see what you can come up with.
The session will be suitable for beginners, intermediates and wizened code slingers alike. Bring and an apple for 'teach and and an Apple Mac for yourself - or whatever laptop you prefer - and sign you up here, post-frantic!
