Flash [Brighton] on the Beach July 10, 2007

Location: Brighton beach, right in front of Bedford Square (postcode BN1 2PL)

we're putting this back by one week cos the forecast for the third looks baaaaaaaaad. so we’re doing the processing on that day instead. we're still taking the whole shooting match al fresco because it’s summertime and summertime means barbeques. that’s right kids, you heard it here first: it’s time to take the geeks to the beach! we’re grabbing our sun tan lotion, busting out a case of beer and chucking a few burgers on the grill as we leave the tech at home for a change and enjoy the sun whilst it still shines. so come along and join in the southern-fried fun!

we’ll be cooking it up on the beach just in front of bedford square from six/sevenish onwards. this because i’ve got a friend with a balcony flat on that square who, if the weather turns unexpectedly inclement, has agreed that we can take the party to his place for the night. well awright!

one change of plan. UNLESS we announce beforehand that we've secured some funding - keep your eye on the listserv - food and drink will NOT be provided because nikos has been mindful enough to point out to me that letting people buy their own food ensures that they get what they want and that administering the munny is simpler. so, barring a last minute announcement otherwise, be sure to provide your own booze and tucker! we'll make sure we have the barbies to cook on

bring anything you fancy mucking around with too. your swimming cozzie, a rubik’s cube, your balalaika and repetoire of romanian gypsy tunes. whatever you want really. and if you wanna bring friends and family or whatever that’s cool too but please do let me (and only me, let’s not spam the listserv) know about it so that i can prepare whatever it is i need to prepare.
