About the performers
OSCAR VALERO
Oscar Valero has studied flamenco with Antonio Canales, La China, Manuel Soler, Domingo Ortega, and Alejandro Granados among others. Oscar also plays cajon and has shared the stage with Manuel
Soler, El Pirania, Ramon Porrina, and Lucki Losada.
Carlos danced as a soloist with Antonio Canales dance company from 1998 through 2000. He was also a soloist with Maria Pages in New York City, Washington D.C and Boston (2001). In Spain he has participated in the
most famous flamenco festivals including; Festival de Jerez, festival deCantes de las Minas (La Union), and La Bienal de Sevilla.
Currently Carlos is directing his own flamenco company performing his first creation “Fuerza”. He has
taught and keeps teaching workshops throughout Europe, Japan, and
United States.

GISELE ASSI REVOLLAR
Gisele Revollar danced as a professional Flamenco Dancer, with Angela Mari Menta’s Tarantos Co. De Arte y Baile Flamenco, and with Laurita De Castro’s Co. In Brazil from 1988-1996. Since 1999, she has been performing in New York: she was the lead dancer in Two River Theater Co’s production of Lorca’s Blood Wedding in August to October 1999 in Manesquan, NJ. Gisele performed as one of the featured dancers in the Off Broadway’s Theater Show “Flamenco Extravaganza.”
Since 2002, Gisele Revollar has been teaching in Ballet Hispanico, Third Street Music School, and Times Circle Studio in NYC. www.flamenconyc.com
CARLOS REVOLLAR
Flamenco guitarist Carlos Revollar is one of the most sought-after flamenco artists in New York City, performing regularly with some of flamenco's top dancers and singers at such venues as the Guggenheim Museum, Lincoln Center Summer Stage, Caramoor Festival, New York Fashion Week, New York City Center and NJ Performing Arts Center.
He has performed with many dance companies including Flamenco Vivo, Sol y Sombra, Danzas Españolas and Fiesta Flamenca. An accomplished composer, Carlos Revollar has won American Music Center Award Grant three consecutive years for his compositions Revmenco (2004), Zapateado Irish (2005), and Tangos de Oliva (2006) for Alborada Dance Theater. He is currently the Musical Director of the Alborada Dance Theater.
Mr. Revollar, an avid advocate of expanding horizons, brings flamenco to New York City schools, presenting concerts and workshops with and for children.
