FLAMENCLORICO: LORE OF THE MINERS

The international cast of Pasion Flamenca portrays a day-in-the-life of three generations of Rio Tinto miners in this riveting theatrical dance production, paying homage to the miners of Andalucia. Evocative sequences of dance, vocals, and guitar (including the poignant cantes de las minas) unearth a captivating exploration into the heartland of Andalusian culture.

Concept by Jorge Navarro. Music by Pedro Cortes. Direction and choreography by Antonio Hidalgo, recipient of Spain's 2007 Premio Andaluz for artistic achievement.
