Michel-Schlumberger Wine Estate is pleased to announce the first event in our new and exciting Worms to Wine Nature Series. Over the next six months, we will present monthly educational events that highlight our commitment to the land and showcase specific aspects of our organic and sustainable farming practices.

The series kicks off with Fish Day from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 20. Celebrating all things fishy, we’ll start the afternoon with a personal tour of the fish hatchery at Lake Sonoma with Ranger Michael Carroll to meet spawning steelhead trout face to face. Following the tour we’ll head back to Michel-Schlumberger for a walk, talk and sip with Winemaker Mike Brunson and Elliott Doss of California Fish and Game along fish friendly and recently restored Wine Creek. Finally, we’ll cap it off with a personal tasting of Mike’s favorite wines in the Cellar.

Event price is $20. A portion of Fish Day proceeds goes to The Friends of Lake Sonoma – a non-profit organization whose purpose is to serve and support the interpretive and visitor service programs at Lake Sonoma.

Space for the hatchery tour is limited so call with your RSVP, 707 433 7427. If you have questions or would like more information you can email to this address or contact Wendy at 707 433-7427 ext 14. Please plan on dressing warmly with comfortable walking shoes We hope to see you there!
