The Bronx Museum of the Arts proudly presents its monthly First Wednesday Book Signing featuring “On the Wall: Four Decades of Community Murals in New York City” a book by Janet Braun-Reinitz and Jane Weissman.

The result of six years of research and hundreds of interviews, “On the Wall” is a lively history of New York City’s community murals documented with 150 color images and the many “stories” behind the murals. Ms. Weissman and Ms. Braun-Reinitz, bring to light many murals lost to history; those that were destroyed and those unknown outside their immediate surroundings.
