From the first feature length documentary Nanook of the North (1922) to the revolutionary documentary Voices of Iraq (2004) utilizing 150 mini-dv cameras, documentaries are an important and intriguing genre of film. Join us this Thursday December 6th for one hour of Texas-made documentary short films taken from past entries in the Texas Filmmakers Showcase. This FREE evening is not to be missed because you won't get to see these film anywhere else! Please arrive early, screening begins promptly at 9:00PMish.

Every first Thursday of the month we will have a FREE screening of award-winning Texas-made short film entries from the Houston Film Commissions Texas Filmmakers Showcase or from other film festivals. The one hour-ish screenings will begin at 9PM at Dean's Credit Clothing, 316 Main Street (between Preston & Congress). Come see some great films that you may never get to see again or to just talk film in the comfort of the hippest venue downtown.
