First International Curling Event in Arizona October 9, 2009

This unique and special event will see four curlers from Scottsdale's Sister City, Interlaken Switzerland, play four members curlers from Team CompleteyCanadian.com who are also members of the Coyotes Curling Club located at the Alltel Ice Den.

Admission to the event is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Curling became the "darling" of the Olympics in Nagano, Japan in 1998 and continues its meteoric rise in popularity across the United States fuelled by increased viewership of subsequent Olympic Games and local participation. The Vancouver Olympics slated for February 2010 will create another swell in curling participation at the non-profit Coyotes Curling Club.
