Louisville, Kentucky 40202

Why was Louisville once called “the graveyard of the west”? How does water get all the way from the Ohio River to the treatment plant, to the faucets in our homes? Discover the answers to these questions, and much more, as you experience the temporary exhibit, “Water Works: 150 Years of Louisville Water Company,” created right here at the Frazier Museum. Through an interactive session in the exhibit, students learn about the history of our community and ground-breaking innovations that have occurred over the years at Louisville Water Company. This experience will also open their eyes to environmental issues related to water and the importance of access to safe drinking water, here and around the world. The program concludes with a live performance, designed specifically to align with the exhibit. Advanced reservations and payment required. Call (502) 753-5663 to reserve a spot today!
(Recommended for grades 2-8.)
