Firehouse Quilts 5th Annual Quilt Show July 17, 2010

Firehouse Quilts puts on a spectacular (2 day) quilt show as their only fund raising event each year for our community to enjoy. The success of their quilt show is reflected by the number of quilters allowing this charity group to display their wonderful quilts for the public to enjoy.

The quilt show is open to the public and is held at Cherry Hills Community Church, 3900 Grace Blvd. in Highlands Ranch; a perfect fit for the beautiful quilt display, live music, vendors & of course, the Bed Turning of the snuggle quilts they donate to Colorado Fire Departments.

Friday, July 16, 2010 (12pm - 6pm)
Saturday, July 17, 2010 ( 9am – 5pm)
Vendor Mall will stay open Saturday until 5pm for last minute shopping while (at 4pm) the quilts are being taken down.

QUILT SHOW ADMISSION: (allows entry both days)
$7 at the door (it’s a fundraiser, please help support our mission)
$6 in advance/online (after March 2010) for those wanting to save a buck.

Come support our hometown charity that helps children in crisis while enjoying a fun, unique quilt show.

WHAT IS FIREHOUSE QUILTS?
Volunteers of Firehouse Quilts make & donate snuggle quilts to Colorado Fire Depts., Action Care Ambulance, Denver Health Medical Center, Victim Advocate Offices, women’s shelters and Douglas/Elbert Task Force; the quilts are then given to children in crisis.

Volunteers meet to sew/quilt twice a month at:
Northridge Rec. Center, 8801 S Broadway, Highlands Ranch, CO.
1st Wednesdays ( 4:30p-8p)
3rd Thursdays (12:30p-4:30p)

Bring your sewing machine, beige/gray thread, scissors, pins, ripper, etc.
Free kits are available to volunteers at all Sew Days. Other supplies (ironing and cutting stations) are shared by all the volunteers.
