Delaware Theatre Company presents the East Coat Premiere of 'Fire on the Bayou,' a steamy musical gumbo that traces the history of New Orleans jazz. Written and directed by Kevin Ramsey, this show will heat up the DTC with a mixture of jazz, zydeco and Dixieland tunes. Though recently devastated by one of the deadliest hurricanes in U.S. history, the city of "Nawlins" has not lost its spirit. "Fire was on the bayou when we heard the news, Katrina blew in the Bourbon Street blues. Juke joints flooded, yet the music played on." Join Spyboy Jambalaya, Queen Mary and the rest of the Gris Gris Executors as they lead you through an authentic musical journey featuring 'Sweet Home New Orleans,' 'Hey Pocky Way,' 'Down by the Riverside,' 'When the Saints Go Marching In,' 'Mardi Gras in New Orleans' and 'Fire on the Bayou.'
