Quarterly meeting of the Society for Popular Astronomy.
Main speaker is Dr Hiranya Peiris (UCL) on Fingerprints of the Universe, which is about the Cosmic Microwave Background - the left-over heat from the Big Bang. The second half of the meeting will include Robin Scagell's guide to the summer and autumn skies, and Bob Mizon on Aurorae.
Members and their friends are welcome, and entry is free of charge. Members should please remember to bring their membership cards or a copy of Popular Astronomy.
