Washington celebrates the best in international cinema with the screening of more than 75 premieres, restored classics, and shorts. Special events round out the international celebration. For avid moviegoers, the festival provides the opportunity to see films from countries, such as Ireland, Israel and Indonesia, all in one week. The festival includes children's events and panel discussions with directors, critics and scholars.
