Film Night in the Park outdoor film festival presents a large screen presentation of the 2012 Academy Award winner for Best Picture, "The Artist."The stylish winner of five Academy Awards including Best Picture, "The Artist" follows a silent film star and a young actress as they find love in the time of "talkies." This dialogue-free comedy-drama examines how individuals thrive or fail when modern technology impacts art, business and society.
Free. Donations appreciated. Popcorn, candy and sodas will be sold. Bring blankets, pillows, backrest and low chairs. Film Night suggests leaving pets at home.
Film Night in the Park screenings in San Francisco are presented by the San Francisco Neighborhood Theater Foundation and its sponsors.
