Film Night June 16, 2008

Terror's Advocate - a film by Barbet Schroeder about the French lawyer Jacques Vergès who, over several decades, made a career of defending some of the most despised figures of our time – from anti-colonial bombers in Algeria, to left-wing extremists like Carlos the Jackal, to right-wing dictators like Slobodan Milosevic. Discussion period after the film will be led by a representative of the Humanist Society of Scotland. Tickets available from the Filmhouse box office
