Film - Moon December 6, 2009

Set in the near future, astronaut Sam Bell has been sent to live on the moon for three years to mine an energy source for Earth. Sams health begins to deteriorate, and while recuperating back at the base, he meets a younger, angrier version of himself, who claims to be there to fulfill the same mission Sam began nearly three years ago. The mesmerizing, eerie drama unfolds as Sam fights the clock to discover whats really going on. Kevin Spacey provides the voice of Sams only companion, an onboard computer named Gerty, in this intriguing science fiction mystery. Directed by Duncan Jones, David Bowies son. (R) 97 minutes, 2009.
