Film: MARGERET & EVERGON November 5, 2011

This screening is part of Reeling - The Chicago Lesbian and Gay International Film Festival. Director Donald Winkler's film profiles celebrated Montreal photographer Evergon, who took a remarkable series of nude portraits of his own mother when she was 80. This documentary explores the lives of the mother and son behind the photographs, uncovering their poignant family history and unique and inspiring relationship. The film will be screened with the US documentary DIRTY DRAWINGS...WITH HAPPY ENDINGS.
