Is your teen interested in video cameras and making movies? In this five-day Film Camp offered by UNM Continuing Education, your teen will build technical and production skills, culminating in completed film scenes ready for screening. Students will learn the basics of camcorder operation, how to compose a shot, maximize the power of visuals, basic lighting and grip techniques and how to a capture quality sound on location. Completed scenes might be screened for friends & family. The emphasis of the camp is on fun, but we might discover the next Steven Spielberg. Students need a basic camcorder - all other equipment is provided.

Camps will be held at the DATA Charter School, located at 1011 Lamberton NE in Albuquerque,
