This documentary was produced for the BBC Persian Service to highlight probing journalism and issues that continue to resonate inside and outside of Iran. In A TALE OF TWO SOLDIERS, two men who sought asylum in Canada rediscover the critical encounter that changed their lives during the Iran-Iraq war, when Zahed, recruited into the Iranian army at the age of 14, saved the life of Najah, a forcibly conscripted Iraqi.
