OVERDRIVE SUPERTHRUSTER (ODST) is a Virginia based group playing a unique brand of heavy pop rock originals. Songs are massive combining heavy guitars, shot-gun drums, extraordinary bass lines, endless harmonies, and unforgettable hooks. Influences are varied (Stones, JET, Foo, Queen, QOTSA, Zeppelin, Beatles) but not overt or overdone as each song is performed via the musical talents of four very different rock and roll souls - from a Berklee trained bass player and trumpet-trained lead guitar player, to a self-taught country picker and a drummer from a marching band. This rare mix of rock'n'rolla's produces powerful tracks that give listeners' multiple influences in every song. The band's first studio album, Stay Gold Sessions (available @ iTunes and CD Baby), was a stripped down, self-produced affair recorded live in early 2007 in an attempt to capture the band's raw energy and pop hooks. Stay Gold Sessions was followed up by multiple live performances including the 2008 and 2009 Shamrock Festivals in Washington DC (DC area's biggest St. Patrick's Day Festival). After more live performances in the summer of 2009, the boys put touring on hold to record their second album. The new record, Raven Nevermore, is out now (CDBABY.com) and features 11 critically acclaimed original rock and roll tracks.

Fight The Bear is a rock band out of Falls Church VA/Washington DC. It's strange in this day and age to refer to a band as just " rock", but Fight The Bear is bucking that trend. Sure, many sub-genres, including metal, have had an obvious influence, but make no mistake - Fight The Bear is just rock music that's done right. The band started out in early 2005 when founding members Kurt Snyder (drums), Jude Plessas (bass) and Jason Hoese (lead guitar) first started laying down the instrumentation. The configuration of the band was set in March of 2007 when Bill Hughes joined to take on vocal duties, adding rhythm guitar to boot. From the Police to the Smiths, Queens of The Stone Age to Tool, Cheap Trick to Clutch, their influences are extremely wide ranging, letting each member bring something unique to the table to help shape their sound. Whether it's a straight-up rocker with groove, something melodic and soft, or whacked out indulgence, Fight The Bear does it a unique way with style and energy. Come see the band live for a dose of something genuine.
