Fight For Your Life! June 5, 2009

The Friends of AIDS Foundation is requesting your support by urging you to join us in a community mobilization event to protest the proposed cuts to the State Office of AIDS.

We will be joining with the Los Angeles County Commission on HIV, the Prevention Planning Committee, HIV service providers, and concerned citizens of the community for an organized rally to protest the proposed cuts to the State Office of AIDS.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Your participation is crucial in this matter. We need a huge turnout in order to make a statement that cutting funding for HIV/AIDS programs will have a devastating impact on our community and our state. The rally is scheduled for Friday, June 5th, 2009 from 5pm - 7pm at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The address is 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard Hollywood, California 90038.

COME IN RED SHIRTS! We are requesting that people who plan on attending make signs to carry that highlight the negative impact that these cuts would have on our community.
