Field Trip/Hike March 5, 2011

Hike one of the most beautiful and interesting mountains in the Eastern U.S. and learn about the area's fascinating geology and other aspects of its natural history. Participants must have registered for and attended the February 27 lecture at Potomac Overlook. This hike is about 8 miles and is moderate to strenuous participants must be in good physical shape. Presented by Martin Ogle and Rich Bailey, naturalists, Northern Virginia Regional park Authority.
