Fiddler On The Roof July 9, 2009

Ascension Community Theatre produly presents its 2009 summer musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF by Jerry Bock, composer and lyricist Sheldon Harnick.
'The story centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his family and religious traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives. He must cope with both the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters—each one's choice of husband moves farther away from the customs of her faith—and with the edict of the Tsar that evicts the Jews from their village.'

PERFORMANCE DATES:
July 9th-12th, July 16th-19th, July 24th-25th.
**All shows begin at 7pm, except 12th and 19th with shows beginning at 2pm.
**July 24th and 25th performances will be dinner theatre gala performances. Tickets will be sold by tables and include catered dinner, wine, and the performance.
