Story Strategy: Building Brand Narrative for Companies, Products and Executives

With all the discussion of branding these days, you?d think that there would be a guide to creating brand narrative that is simple and easy to understand. Well, there is one. It is Story Strategy and it was created by former marketing professor and founder of BC Consulting Gil Chavez.

Gil has created his consultancy to help clients the communicate stories that build their businesses. He developed his methodology based on strategic marketing and news media techniques. This includes Robert Cialdini?s principals of persuasion and Al Reis? principals of branding. The result is Story Strategy, which provides a strategic approach to communicating brand narrative.

In this presentation Gil will lead the audience through the steps for creating a strategic story that communicates a brand effectively:
1) Defining objective
2) Creating Positive Story
3) Testing with Q&A
4) Executing.
Whether the program is for a product, a company, or an executive, this process facilitates planning and helps to create a vision of the brand and how it should be communicate.

On a personal level, executives have found that the Story Strategy approach results in better communication, more powerful business presentations, more impressive media and job interviews, more persuasive negotiations. In marketing communications programs, this approach has helped to build programs with clearer objectives and strategies, allowing for more efficient execution of tactics.

Calling upon his long experience in marketing communications and media, Gil will provide case studies and examples, as well as discuss current projects.
