Festival of Ideas for the New City: Streetfest May 7, 2011

Come to an innovative outdoor 'StreetFest along the Bowery. Kids can expect a full day of activities including a pop-up imagination playground, farm-to-table cooking classes and ecology workshops. The 'Festival of Ideas for the New City' (May 4-8) is a major new initiative involving 200+ Downtown organizations working together to effect change. The Festival will include a three-day slate of symposia; an innovative 'StreetFest' along the Bowery; and more than 100 independent projects and public events.
