Hip Hop in the Festival? Well, why not? Especially if they are Brazil’s Grupo de Rua and Indonesia’s Jecko Siompo bringing their shows H3 and Terima Kost to life. They break new ground by experimenting with hybrid styles of dance-making. Join hip-hop personality Sheik Haikel and Anna Belle Francis, as they discuss and share their fascination with the essence and evolution of street dance and hip hop. You might even learn a new move or two!
All events under the Festival Chats series are free and held at the Open Stage, library@esplanade. The Festival Chats are presented by the Festival in association with the Singapore Drama Educators Association and the National Library Board.
