The Baltimore-based sextet Fertile Ground's power lies not only in its rich blend of soul, jazz, funk and African-inspired rhythms, but in its positive, progressive lyrics. Groove Stu is an urban soul band that has been entertaining audiences for the past four years. They have to their credit the multi-genre album 'Authentic 4.10 Sessions' and the just-released DVD 'Live and Direct in Baltimore.'
