En Garde Fencing

Learn to fence just like they do in the Olympics! Fencing is a fun and fast-paced sport, engaging both mind and body as you train your way to harmony between the two. Fencing is great exercise. In our classes we always begin with a vigorous group warmup to practice our footwork and prepare for the fencing to come. All three of the modern weapons are taught at En Garde Fencing, and private lessons are available on request from owner and head coach, Jim Liebich. If you're looking for a fun but challenging workout that also requires mental speed and flexibility, fencing is the activity for you!

Be sure to dress in comfortable, stretchy workout clothes and wear running or tennis shoes. All fencing gear is provided. Bring a friend and be ready to sweat!

Teens and adults welcome. Children aged 7-12 can join the community center classes in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park or Sebastopol. Call 707-588-3456 for classes at the Rohnert Park Community Center.
