Felipe Esparza won Last Comic Standing! & appeared on the Comedy Central series, "Russell Simmons Presents: Stand-Up at the El Rey." He is best known for his raw, real-life comedy, his irreverent on-stage persona, wild hair, and his often-imitated phrase, "What‘s up fool?" from his comedy album, REBOUND MATERIAL. He also shares- "I‘m not a tough guy, but I can beat up everyone at Trader Joe‘s, but at Food-for-Less I shut up. They don‘t have aisles, they have alleys." Many people are surprised to find out that Felipe is the same person referred to and imitated in several onstage stories by fellow comedian, Gabriel Iglesias.
Other TV credits include: ABC‘s "Comics Unleashed," Showtime‘s "Comics WithoutBorders," BET‘s "Comic View," and "One Mic Stand," and Galavision‘s "Que Locos” He also completed production on two films this year, "The Deported", and "I‘m Not Like that No More", based on Felipe‘s stand-up material.
