Originally built in 1930, the Lion House was renovated in 1989 and became the Feline and Primate Building. Some of the most remarkable animals at the zoo call this building home, including two Siberian Tigers (also known as Amur Tigers), two species of Lemurs, beautiful Snow Leopards, African Lions, Mandrills (think of Rafiki from Disney's "The Lion King") and the highly endangered Cotton Top Tamarin and Golden Lion Tamarin monkeys, which are on loan from the government of Brazil.
