Tech funk, acid house & warped disco futurists...FC Kahuna, Kerowack & Land Shark at Mighty on 3/16.
FC Kahuna take a studio break from their 2006 follow up to "Machine Says Yes" released in the spring of 2002 to a host of critical acclaim. The NME said "Easily as good as the last chemicals' lp and snapping at the heels of Daft Punks' "Discovery" Machine Says Yes is as broad in it's retro reference as it is happy to revel in the futuristic" while Rolling Stone added "Machine Says Yes throbs like vintage acid-house...but they've given it a makeover for the millennium." You may have heard Hayling, Machine Says Yes, Nothing is Wrong or Glitterball invade your living room via TV shows like Six Feet Under, CSI Miami and Nip/Tuck. Alternatively keep an ear out FC Kahuna music in the Keira Knightley flick Domino and Brit gangster classic Layer Cake or surfpunk film Riding Giants. FC Kahuna are currently working on the follow up to Machine Says Yes due in 2006. This is a special event as FC Kahuna have not played SF since they toured with Underworld in 2002. www.myspace.com/fckahunauk

Kerowack celebrate their signing to Tommie Sunshine's Xylophone Jones EU record label with upcoming releases of Naf Monk (XJR EU001) due out end of April & Harpooner (XJR EU004) due out mid summer. Kerowack released their debut single, Dirty Bumf, in 2005 on Rip Records with a Soul Mekanik remix on the flip. Dirty Bumf received a Sureplayer review in DJ Mag & appeared on Mylo's Radio 1 Essential Mix as well as Darren Emerson & Sharam Jey's Underwater Episode 04 mix CD. Kerowack's DIY style music videos for Dirty Bumf & White Dress have been viewed over a million times and they just wrapped their new video for Naf Monk, starring the Queens Of Noize. Kerowack's electromantic ballad, Met U In Miami, is being released as a limited pressing on March 9. Kerowack's WMC/M3 party will be at Rokbar Miami on March 23.

Land Shark, AKA Lance DeSardi, currently has a number of singles up for release, including a cover project of LFO's "We Are Back" as 1/2 of Little Death, and a new glitchy release called "Dog Tags", both for Coma records. His album, under the Land Shark moniker, is due out in early fall.
