FC Dallas International Night Celebration August 1, 2009

Soccer. Futbol. Football. Futebol. It's the world's game, and FC Dallas is partnering with DFW International to highlight communities from around the globe living right here in North Texas.

Join us to represent your country and support your heritage. Bring your flag and wear your colors as we celebrate the world around us. This special evening will include:

9:00am - 4:00pm - Mini World Cup Challenge
An 8-team tournament representing different communities and nations will be played at Pizza Hut Park beginning Saturday morning, August 1. All participating teams will be featured in a pre-game Parade of Nations, and the Champions of the Mini World Cup will be honored at halftime of the FC Dallas game.

5:00pm - 7:00pm - International Festival
The Pizza Hut Park stadium gates will open at 5 p.m., at which point the global festival will begin on the north concourse plaza. The pre-game festival will include stages for traditional music and authentic dance groups, as well as booths with information on traveling to other countries around the world.

7:10 pm - Parade of Nations
A parade of nations will take place on the stadium field shortly before kickoff, allowing various community groups to represent their respective nations and cultures.


7:30pm - FC Dallas vs KC Wizards
