Father John Corapi is what has commonly been called a late vocation. He was 44 years old when he was ordained. His experiences prior to ordination might be called extreme. He went from small town boy to the Vietnam era US Army, from successful businessman in Las Vegas and Hollywood to drug addicted and homeless, to religious life and ordination to the priesthood by Pope John Paul II. A perpetually professed priest member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, Father Corapi is a preacher of the Gospel who has reached millions with the simple message that God's Name is Mercy.
