Join us for lunch at BFUU first, then Father Andres Tamayo will be joining us for a commemoration of Archbishop Oscar Romero. Father Andres , a native of El Salvador, has carried out his entire missionary life in Honduras in the community of Salama, Olancho. Awarded the Goldman Prize in 2005, he is an internationally recognized leader of the fight for environmental and social justice in Honduras. He will be discussing his active leadership of resistance to the de facto regime in Honduras, as well as environmental issues in Central America.
