Father And Daughter Team Up To Fight Cancer



Arden Kaywin, a Miami native and critically acclaimed recording artist, has teamed up with her father Dr. Paul Kaywin and his oncology practice, Advanced Medical Specialties of Miami, to raise money and awareness for cancer. The pair will use the occasion of Arden’s headlining concert appearance at Studio A Miami on May 19th, 2007, to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.

On May 19th fans at Studio A Miami will be treated to hearing Arden perform songs from her 2006 debut album Quarter Life Crisis along with a sneak peek at brand new unreleased material. Currently based in Los Angeles, Arden is looking forward to returning to her hometown to perform and is proud to join forces with her father to use this platform to benefit The Relay for Life.

A Miami native, Arden began her singing career on the floor of the Miami Arena where she sang America The Beautiful at 9 years old for The Miami Heat. She attended Pinecrest Elementary and is also a graduate of The Ransom Everglades School.

Since leaving Miami for college, Arden has been singing professionally across the country and finally settled in Los Angeles where she wrote and recorded her 2006 debut album Quarter Life Crisis. In 2006, her single ‘Me With Me’ was nominated for Pop Song of the Year by the Independent Music Awards. It has been played extensively on college radio and continues to be featured on a number of popular iTunes podcast programs.

Arden’s songs have been featured on TV programs from MTV, NBC, WB, and ABC networks. Arden is currently working on her second CD release.

Dr. Kaywin and his group, Advanced Medical Specialties of Miami, are the premier Oncology / Hematology practice in South Florida. In addition to being on the front lines of treating cancer patients in their office, they have made it their mission to use their resources to raise money for the American Cancer Society in hopes of one day finding a cure. Dr. Kaywin and his wife Ellen currently reside in Coral Gables.
