Fashion Fix DC Presents: Chic Society October 22, 2011

Fashion Fix DC, a local organization that aims to help other local non-profit groups advance their causes through creative and tailored public relations initiatives and events.

Homelessness in DC is on the rise, and Calvary Women's Services doesn't just provide homeless women with a safe place to sleep for the night, but they also enable them with the skills to build a better future with counseling and extended transitional housing programs. Calvary helps educate and empower women so they can pursue a better life. During their 100 Days to 100K Campaign, all money raised for Calvary through December will be doubled. This is our chance to make the biggest impact in the lives of women we have yet to even meet. I urge you to learn more about homelessness, and attend our event to show just how chic it truly is to give.

Fashion Fix cordially invites you to Chic Society on Saturday, October 22; a charity fashion show to raise funds for local women's shelter Calvary Women's Services, helping them to expand their services. Funds raised for the evening will be matched by sponsors.

This event, "Chic Society", will feature a fashion show and will debut fall designs from local DC designers, Lizzie London, Eunjeong Joo, and Zophia. The evening of fashion and philanthropy will also include a silent auction with some pieces from Lizzie London and a raffle. A portion of the proceeds will go towards Calvary's new facility in Southeast DC, helping them to expand their services.

We will be featuring three brilliant designers, two of which are making their DC debut on our stage! You will be privy to a night of fashion, special gifts, amazing raffle items (only $2 a raffle!) and a silent auction for a chance to own our designer, Lizzi London's, one of a kind dresses.
