In celebration of the United Nation?s 60th Anniversary, ?Fashion Fights Poverty (FFP)? will be a spectacular event filled with style-seekers, eager to support the United Nations Association?s partners (Style & Image Network, The ONE Campaign and the US Committee for UNDP). While mingling in an up-scale and festive environment we will rally Washingtonians to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty.
FFP will feature premier couture houses as well as local and international artisans/designers/collectives that have demonstrated how fashion, textiles and design have begun and will continue to alleviate poverty and empower communities.
