Easter Farm Day marks the official start of the Museum of East Anglian Life's Lambing and Farrowing Season, and celebrates the start of spring. Visitors will be able to see our new lambs, baby rabbits and possibly some chicks hatching.

Doris the Large Black pig is expecting a litter of piglets and we hope that they will arrive in time for Farm Day but please remember to say hello to our older animal residents as well as the new arrivals! Look out for the Red Poll cows chewing the cud in their field by the River Rat, the goats filling up on the new sweet grass of spring and Major the Suffolk Punch enjoying the spring sunshine with Tyson, his pony companion.

There will an exciting Easter Egg Hunt which will take you all over the Museum grounds. You must solve the riddles to find the Easter Animals that are hiding in our historic buildings and then you can collect your prize!

Our activity room will be bustling with an art workshop that is free to all visitors who have paid their entry into the Museum. Come along to make your own set of bouncing bunny ears, marvellous masks and fantastic finger puppets.

Archie Gemmell will lead a guided walk and talk through the Nature reserve at 2.00pm.
