418 St. John St, Islington
London, England N1

As of this Friday, one more member of that famous fleet will go to that great terminus in the sky. Yes, the Number 38 will soon make its way round its old route one last time and though by the weekend it will be gone, it will certainly not be forgotten.

Making sure of that fact are a number of 38 fans such as John Hegley (did you know he used to be a bus conductor?) and fellow poet/stand-up Luke Wright who used to travel to work on the bus daily.

On Sunday evening those two will be performing their special kind of transport eulogy at the Old Red Lion, St. John Street (on the 38's route, of course), alongside DJs playing "fabulous bus tunes".
