Celebrate the end of the Billy the Kid Trail Ride from Fort Sumner, New Mexico to Lincoln, New Mexico. Twenty men and women will be riding horseback for seven days following the trail Billy the Kid rode from Lincoln to Fort Sumner in 1868. This Fandango is a dinner and dance to welcome them home from this long trip, over 100 miles on horseback.
Typical cowboy dinner of beef, beans and cornbread begins at 5:30 pm followed by a dance at 7:00 pm.
