Family Science Investigations-Nature's Machines February 23, 2010

Humans are as much a part of nature as a tree, yet our approach to survival seems different than other living things. Our technology and machinery do not closely resemble nature's and we often use very different approaches to the same problems. Humans employ levers, screws, pulleys and often ramps to accomplish their goals, but what about nature? During this class we will investigate and compare the technologies of both worlds.
