Family Matinee: Turtle Island Quartet December 11, 2010

San Francisco Performances' ever-popular Family Matinees begin just in time for the holidays, opening with the Bay Area's own trailblazing quartet Turtle Island Saturday, Dec. 11. Ushering audiences through a mix of genres and back again, Turtle Island pulls young people into the creative wonder and limitless possibilities of music.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Turtle Island Quartet keeps pushing boundaries with its ever-changing repertoire. Audiences discover a whole new way of listening to music.

The program is just one hour long and is an unforgettable foray into powerful artistic programs.
