ArtsNow Writers Roundtables provide aspiring and emerging writers opportunities to hear from and interact with literary agents, publishers, and other industry professionals in a relaxed intimate setting.

The fall Writers Roundtable is “Rewind and Update: Writing Middle Grade and Young Adult Fiction from Memory” with authors Terri Farley and Suzanne Morgan Williams. For tickets, call 425.640.1448.

In this active workshop, Terri Farley points the way to mining your memory for experiences that will make your characters, conflicts and settings sparkle. Next, Suzanne Morgan Williams shows you how to update, research and blend those memories into fiction that will hook today’s young readers.

Terri Farley, www.terrifarley.com, is the author of the Phantom Stallion series, www.phantomstallion.com, for young readers, which has sold more than a million copies.

Suzanne Morgan Williams, www.suzannemorganwilliams.com, is the author of Bull Rider (Margaret K.McElderry Books, 2009) and 11 multicultural and historic nonfiction children's books including Nevada (Sea to Shining Sea Series), The Inuit, and the forthcoming China's Daughters.
