The Heartland Institute, a 22-year-old national nonprofit organization headquartered in Chicago, will celebrate its twenty-second anniversary on Thursday, October 5 with a Benefit Dinner featuring keynote addresses by Richard Epstein, professor of law at the University of Chicago, who will discuss how classical liberal ideas can be advanced in an age of rising moral skepticism, and Rev. Robert Sirico, president of the Acton Institute, who will discuss how people of religious faith can be , persuaded to embrace classical liberalism. The event begins with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton Chicago Hotel, 720 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago. General admission tickets are $125 before Oct. 5 and $150 at the door.
