Fairfax Courthouse and the Civil War- Forum and Book Signing February 28, 2007

The Fairfax Station's Quarterly Forum will be held on Wed., February 28th from 7:30-9:00. Come and hear Ed Trexler, noted local historian and publisher, discuss many interesting but little known events during the Civil War that occurred near the Fairfax Court House. Did you know that the largest troop review by Pres. Jefferson Davis occurred at the Fairfax Court House on 3 October 1861? Civil War and history buffs will delight in his presentation as he discusses this parade and other events and activities as well as the relationship between the court house and the Fairfax Station. Ed will have his book and prints on this subject available that evening. Invite your friends & family to join us.
